The way I knew that i was in labor was that i took a warm bath and i still was having the contractions when i got out of the bath. They like radiated from my back to my front but my water broke so i had to go into the hospital right away and i was only 1-2 cm and 80% effaced so I had to labor in the hosp. for 19 hours straight and 10 hours without the epi lol...

So when I get a contraction, my back, like in my hips get really tight and its a really bad strong ache.. Is that kinda what back labor is like?

Hmm... well mine was hyped up on pitocin, but I felt bad strong pains in the lower back into my butt area. I could not sit up straight and I could not lay down either... I was so uncomfortable until I got the epi! Yay for epidurals.

Okay.. That is where I feel it too, but I was having a hard time describing it! And when I get those I kinda feel like I have to poop (tmi sorry) and the pain goes into my thighs.. I can't wait to not be pregnant!

Yeah, that sounds about right. I did feel a lot of pressure also.  

Hopefully you will have your little one soon!! Are you dialating any?

Well as of Weds I am a fingertip dialated, she said my cervix was REALLY thin and his head is almost right there, lol. I don't really know how much that means, but she said that I might dialate faster cause of my cervix being as thin as it is

I waited to go until I couldnt walk or talk while I was having one. There is no point in going early ( I hate hospitals!) and I don't know about how it is where you live but around here they just send you home if your not at least 4 cm.
