No, We do Vitamin D drops in the winter.

Over 60% of people who get the Flu shot get the Flu. I say why not save yourself the shot if you might not get it anyway

C is what helps the immune system. We do chewable 2x daily, and more when sick.

I wasn't arguing sorry if it came off that way. I have always been told V-C.

Oh no, I sisb;t take it that way. Lol
I know Vit. C is really good as well, but a lot of people have a vitamin d deficiency, so we take it for that reason and it helps keep cold away.

I went ahead and got the preservative free flu shot last week since we are getting ready to move across the country. I can't afford to pick something up as we are driving through the colder states.

If you take emergen-c after you already have the flu, does it help at all?

Make sure you get the one with no preservatives. I didn't realize pregn women had their own kind. And had to see my dr instead of a walgreens trip

I always take the chewable-c, when sick my family and I pop them like candy, and you should be drinking at least 8oz of water an hour, if not more to help flush your system. Always works for me.

Sleep with your window cracked that will also help prevent you from being sick.

I got it when I was 16 weeks (now almost 32).

I was so iffy on getting it because two years ago my dad's best friend got a flu shot and he became paralyzed within hours from it. It's so sad seeing him like he is.

I am antivac so I'm not getting it. I also had a reaction to it when I was younger so that just made my reasons stronger. SO is for them, so I'm not looking forward to the fights we'll be having when the baby comes about it.
He tried telling me he read some crap saying that the flu while pregnant caused smurfing autism. I told him he was stupid & that we'd be blessed if we were given a genius child with autism and he shut up lol
