C-section

So my due date was on December 25, 2012. I went over due & went to another doctor appointment 3 days after my due date on a Friday. My baby was still sitting high, I was not thinning or dilating. My doctor had given me the option of being induced starting on Sunday the 30th, that I would need to go to the hospital to start taking a pill every 4 hours to try thinning my cervix. So I went in at 12pm that Sunday & started my induction. By midnight I still hadn't started thinning or dilating so they give me a pill to sleep. By 8:15am still nothing so they started me on the pitocin drip. I started having bad contractions but still nothing was happening. About 10ish I got up to use the bathroom and started bleeding pretty bad. Nurses couldnt figure out the reason I was bleeding so bad so they called my OBGYN and she came in and told me I needed an emergency c-section because the placenta was detaching. Not even 10 mins later they had me in the surgery room. At 10:44 I had my healthy 7lb 9oz babygirl (:

Congrats mama and i'm glad to hear that your baby girl is happy & healthy and so are you!

I had to have an emergency c-section as well... No fun lol.
