Prostitution isn't illegal in most countries, sex solicitation is.

Not all sugar babies have sex with their daddies. For the most part, sex does not happen in those relationships at all.

Some people consider it to be, others don't. It's legal because it's tricky to actually prove the woman is in it solely for monetary gain. She can easily say or even believe they are in love. That's the difference. To me it's the same smurf - both should be legal.

I don't feel like it is. I feel like if that can be considered prostitution, so can my husband supporting me to stay at home.

No, because prostitution is straight up sex for money. Straight exchange. While you usually sleep with your sugar daddy and he gives you money, it's closer to a relationship.

It'd be like saying you're a prostitute if you have sex with your boyfriend after he buys you dinner, or if you sleep with him while you're a SAHM.

In countries where actual prostitution is illegal (and not just solicitation) it would be a slippery slope to make that illegal, where do you draw the line? I mean they don't just have sex, they escort. So what about SAHM's? They don't just have sex either. Are they hookers? What about SAHWives?

No actually, more often than not it's to show off their "girlfriend" to co-workers, clients and friends.

the way i hear sugar daddy relationships are more like. they spend time together, they have sex, he treats her with gifts and money but their relationship is not a commited relationship like a marriage could be.

Usually not. These men want nothing more but company half the time. Even if sex happens, it's not like these girls are having sex in exchange for gifts. It's a relationship sans commitment.

I have a friend who goes over to a guys house who she has no interest in and flirts with him, gets in his hot tub naked ect all for money... I think its horrible... My mom calls her a prostitute for it... She swears she isn't sleeping with him, but in one month he has given her almost $1000....

I know someone who has done it, they have never had anything sexual but she gets help with a lot of bills and he is a photographer and got her paid work for fashion magazines.

He just wanted a friend and he wanted to be able to help someone that needed it.
