Random exhaustion

posted 14th Jan
It seems over the past few days I have become randomly exhausted. I don't feel like I'm doing anything different. I wake up around seven, feed the baby she'll take a nap and I'll do house work. She'll nap till about noon and I'll do some work from noon to about 3:30 and then finish off the rest of my day playing feeding taking care of Ally until we go to bed around 8 and she won't wake up again until 7 am. But it seems lately I'll get half way through my day and I'm just wiped. I have never felt this exhausted in my life. Not even when I was pregnant. I have no idea what's causing this exhaustion. I haven't had any changes to my daily life. I'm just so tired all the time now.

Have you had your iron levels checked at all? just before I fel pregnant with this baby I went to my GP because I was exhausted constantly and I had done lots of pregnancy tests which were negative, He took bloods and it turned out it was my iron, I took iron for about 2 months and im much better now.

Hormone changes, diet changes start taking some b12 and see if that helps. If it keeps up, may be worth seeing a health care provider for. If your thyroid starts acting up that can cause fatigue.

I hope not I have made a point to not leave the house in hopes to avoid the recent virus that's floating around.

are you going to bed at 8pm as well, and then getting up at 7am? Too much sleep can actually make you feel tired.

No I don't go to bed until ten or eleven depending on when I finshing getting the housework done for the day, it's easier to do at night when she's sleeping.

I would guess your lack of physical activity is what's causing the exhaustion. Try some workout DVDs or something if you don't want to leave the house but you need some physical activity everyday as it gives you energy especially if your sleeping from 8pm to 7 am or 11 hours every night!

Yes it's just me and my daughter here. I have had nobody visit and everything I have needed to buy I have ordered. I'm waiting for the bug to pass so I can to the grocery store. I have heard the virus is not reacting to the flu vaccine, so I'm being super careful just cause I don't want my baby to get it.

About 7mo pp I started feeling exhausted. The np at my docs office suggested I was so tired cause 'I didn't do anything all day " granted I took offense to it at first but she was right. All I did was baby baby baby. Make time for yourself 2 or 3 days to get out or exercise etc. Made a huge difference for me.

are you going out and getting any sun at all? going on walks to keep your energy up. its not healthy to be in the house all day everyday.

No, I really don't leave the house at all. I guess I just have been overly cautious. I feel like if I don't go anywhere at all and keep the house super clean we won't get sick.

try going outside for atleast 20 minutes a day. at little sunshine no matter the season is good. When i first had my son we went outside and sat on the porch for a lil bit everyday to get some fresh air.
