If you know what time he gets up and wets the bed, why dont you get up and carry his happy butt to the bathroom and make him go?

But I would be taking things away from him, not letting him play with friends, no tv time.

He could be scared of the dark, it could be something else that he has in mind, I don't really know but I would try the potty in the room before my suggestion of punishments. If that doesn't work and he still purposely wets the bed, then you need to consider punishing him for it.

I have done all but taking things away I think.
I have cloth diapers from DD (15 months) and the last two nights I've made him wear them. We're having really bad water issues and I cannot keep washing blankets and such. He is sooooo mad about it. But he's peed in them too. I thought if it went down to the acting like a baby, treated like a baby road it'd get to him. He hates being told that. That he isn't acting like a big kid.

This too, I actually did that with my son and he has weeks without wetting the bed.

Sorry guessing on time since I know it's not before I go to bed at midnight or so. And because Sunday I finally heard him get up. So we called to him to come to the bathroom (right down the hall from us in a wood house, it echos haha). He just got up and I heard his drawers, which means he was changing. So ya, I'm probably going to have to do that. DH gets up around 6ish anyways, just make him go in and send him to the bathroom.

I think that's what we need.

This is why I post here. The brainstorming helps lol

Why don't you get up at that time and make him go? Yeah it would suck but it may be what he needs right now.

Or treat him like a baby throughout the day and see if he still does it.

I think we will. Just getting him up earlier. Gonna bite me in the butt cuz he probably won't go back to sleep, But maybe a longer nap time? LOL

Lol it does help. I used to wake DS up around 2-3 am depending on how much and how soon before bed he had something to drink. I think you are better off waking him up before 5 because now that you explain you don't really know he is getting up at that time, he could just be waking up to a wet bed. He probably just notices he wet the bed and gets up to change around that time, my DS has done it before but it's way after the fact.

OMG this child.

I'm sitting here with y'all getting a plan together and he asks me for a pocket knife! I told him no, he's not being grown up peeing the bed there's no way I would trust him with a knife. He goes "I'll stop!" He's too smart for me. Darn kid wants a bribe.

I refuse to give him a bribe for this. Right? No? Heck. lol

Haha it's ok.
Yes. My m/c was in November. I was on day 42 waiting on her since then. So glad this is my first AF since the loss. Ready to TTC again.

If he goes a month then I would give him something but probably not a pocket knife unless you trust him with it
