Ovulation

posted 14th Jan
I knew I shouldn't of bought ovulation tests because I'm just getting confused!   The top test is the day before yesterday. In the bottom picture the top picture(not near the words) is today and the bottom is yesterday. Does the test from yesterday look positive?

No but it looks like it's close. Your urine could be diluted a bit which if your test was supposed to be positive the dilution could have caused the test line to be a lil lighter. But that one looks close. So you took that one yesterday and you had the light one taken today? The pic on the bottom (2nd picture) the test to the left is the one I'm talking about that looks almost positive. It's very close and like I said the dilution if your urine was diluted could cause it to look a bit light. The one on the right is negative. I hope this helps.

Yes it helps. The top one was extremely dilated. The one from yesterday was completly dilated. Is it odd that those are from CD 5, 6, and 7? I forgot to add that I just had a chemical pregnancy.

So you had a chemical this past cycle or this cycle that you took the opks on? Bc if it was last cycle then it wouldn't be left over hcg. But are your periods regular? Do you have PCOS or anything like that? Those can affect ovulation test results.

Yes my last cycle. The bleeding wasn't even as bad as I expected. I bought the ovulation tests to help me predict my period again. I do normally have 27-28 day cycles.

Then the dark one could have possibly been positive just with diluted urine. You may have had a short surge or you caught the very end of it. I've done that before.

Is it normal to ovulate that early? I took another this morning and it's still slightly dark but not as dark. I'm wondering if the chemical pregnancy is just making me more fertile.

Well depends. When was the chemical? Like how long ago because if you have a 27-28 day cycle then you'd probably ovulate around CD12 or so. You'd count from the time you started bleeding as CD1. I know when I miscarried and I was 16 weeks I ovulated exactly 2 weeks after I stopped bleeding from the miscarriage so my body took it like a normal period.

I was suppose to start my last period by the 3rd. I finally got a postivie on the 6th. My tests went negative the 8th and I started bleeding later that night.

I posted something in your other thread about it as well. Did you test today with the opk? That may be able to shed some light on some things because if you'd be pregnant right now the opk will be positive.

Yes I replied there too. The OPK is as dark as the others have been. That is what is confusing me.

I'd go to the doctor. Cuz either 1. you are pregnant again. 2. you have left over hcg from the chemical. or 3. your ovulation may be trying to come but the egg is having trouble releasing. I had that happen to me last month. I had 5 days of positive opks because the egg had trouble popping through.
