Quick recovery?

I've heard horror stories about how it took women months (or longer) to feel right or even better after giving birth, but about a week after I had my son I felt like it never happened (aside from the bleeding and stretched beyond repair skin). Is it odd to feel healed so quickly or do only the women with the bad experiences talk about them? I mean, after that first week my swelling went away, the pain went away, I was able to sleep, and go up the steps without feeling like I was going to pass out. I just don't know if this is strange or not.

I had a quick recovery as well and I hope I do this time too!

It's not odd the feel normal so quickly. My stitches were healed fully by the second week. I'm glad you are feeling well

thats how i was..my tailbone KILLED for months after..i still get pains here and there.

I felt fine the next day. A little tender when sitting or using the bathroom, but not bad at all.

Im the same way, im 12 days pp and feel normal again nothing hurts ive never had trouble with pooping either, the first few days were painful it stinged to pee and hurt to sit but I felt good at a week pp now im just waiting for my drs "ok" to start having sex again, I hope to be good by valentines day ;)

It burned to pee for about a week. It burned terribly, but it was gone as quickly as it had appeared. We didn't wait to start having sex. Just couldn't do it. I couldn't wait to take a bath either. Or wear tampons. Yes, I am lucky to not have an infection. I go for my 6 week pp check up monday.

Omg! Your brave ! I wouldnt dare have sex yet even if I feel ok I still fear tearing something

We waited 5 days, took it slow and it felt awesome. It hurt a tiny bit for the first minute or two, but then the pain completely went away. The only time It hurt afterwards was one time a couple weeks later, but I think that had more to do with the sex and a lot less to do with the fact that I just had a baby. I knew what the risks were, but my entire pregnancy we were barely intimate...ever. It was on my part, not his. I just was never feeling it. As soon as I had the baby, I was feeling it again. Making up for lost time? Sorry if this is TMI.
