Yes it induces ovulation. I got preg with twins. One ended up not growing. Well because of that I had placenta previa and then once that started to slowly move I was diagnosed with vasa previa. This was caused by te twins which was caused by the clomid. So now I get to sit in a hospital awaiting the birth via csection of my premature child, hoping she doesn't die before then   while yes my case is Extemely rare, it sucks and it is real   I cry everyday for using clomid. I feel like responsible for putting my babys life in danger. I don't want to scare you six e the odds are it won't happen to you. But it is something to consider that not everyone experiences rainbows and unicorns from clomid.

I had a friend, a very small friend, who had triplets. That's part of why I'm scared. One of them has cerebral palsy.

The standard procedure is to hospitalize at 32 weeks and csection between 34-36 weeks. They do weekly u/s and decide whether or not it's worth keeping her in. I'm on a monitor 4 times a day so if she showed distress theyd take her. If my water broke or I had any bleeding they'd take me. I'm only a few doors away from the OR just in case. But they try to find the right balance between making her as healthy as possible without risking anything going wrong.

I have PCOS, I do not have IR or any blood sugar problems.. I take Metformin 1000mg a day. Metformin can help lower your testosterone levels and balance out the hormones. I'm proof that Metformin can help regulate your hormones because my testosterone level was in the 90's before taking Metformin, after taking Metformin my testosterone dropped to 47 (normal range). It also balanced out my estrogen levels.

Anyway, I'd ask for Clomid, Metformin and Provera to jump start your period. When I was TTC my daughter I took all of those medications. I'd also ask for a referral to an endocrinologist like Amelia said.

Oh yeah. They're on it. I love my perinatologist and I trust his advice and instinct. If it wasn't for him I am sure I wouldn't have been diagnosed with the vp and my baby would have died.

I have the same problem. My testosterone level is complete normal. You should have your Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) tested to see if thats the cause of your hair issues. My testosterone levels came back normal but my Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is elevated

It's like the miracle drug for PCOS. LOL Research also shows that Metformin can prevent fatty liver (many women with PCOS have a fatty liver). I took Metformin and watched my diet, in 3 months my fatty liver that I had for YEARS went away and has been normal for 4 years now.

Lots of people hate him. I heard horror stories about him when I told people I had to go to him. But I get so emotional Everytime I see him or talk about him cause he has Been so amazing words cannot even describe how grateful I am for him.
