Help? *way tmi*

So last night, I had a little bit of blood. I'm due for my period, so I put a tampon in, and then went to bed.
I woke up, and the tampon was completely clean, so I figured I didn't need one yet.
Well literally 3 hours later I'm sitting in bed and blood GUSHES out, like my water broke, except it was blood, like i'm giving birth to satans child. The entire back of the shorts I was wearing is soaked in blood. I stood up and a huge clot just fell out of my vag like it was smurfing cool.
So I go to the bathroom, I get cleaned up, I put another tampon on, and I carry on with my day.
5 minutes later I feel wet down there again, so I go to the bathroom to check, and once again, I stood up and blood gushed out. Even with a tampon, that had only been in there for 5 minutes. And when I got to the toilet and took the tampon out, two huge clots fell out.
I'm freaking out. I don't have any cramps that feel abnormal.
I've literally never had anything like this happen, besides when I was miscarrying. And yes, pregnancy and miscarriage is possible. But I think I would know if I was miscarrying? And my period isn't late, it's actually right on time.

That sometimes happens too me. My doc said that sometimes it can be heavier, but I have now switched doctors because I was told by my sister that can be a sign of fibroids

If it keeps happening like that, soaking through tampons that quickly (and it's not normal for you) go to the ER.
I can easily go through 2-3 tampons in an hour, followed by clots, but that's normal for me. If your periods aren't like that, you could become anemic. I ended up in the ER in 2011 and they thought I was going to need a blood transfusion because I was bleeding like you are now.

If it were miscarriage and you didn't even know you were pregnant yet it would be way too early to have that kind of bleeding. It does warrant a call to the OB.

That sounds so scary! I don't even kno what I would do. I would freak out and start screaming and running around in circles.
Gurl, I hope you are ok!

if you were pregnant it would still be considered a chemical pregnancy, they usually bleed slightly heavier than a normal period but what happening to you sounds demonic....I'd wait another hour and if it happens again I'd go in to see wtf could've happened...

So within 13 mins of me posting this, i once again soaked through a super pad, and a few more smurfing clots.
I'm just gonna call the nearest ER and get advice from them. I don't even have insurance right now

yeah, call and they HAVE to take you and I believe if it's an actual emergency they will not charge you...and I suggest you get yourself on state medical ASAP and see a doctor woman!!

The bleeding slowed down, the clots haven't though. And they're pretty huge :/
My ride is gonna come soon, and depending how it is then, i'm gonna go in. He should take at least an hour, so that's a good period of time to observe.
Thank you guys for responding, and sorry for the disgusting factor of it. lol.
