I did spray tanning. It is how it heats your body up that it could harm the baby

Idk 100% for sure since I haven't researched this in many years. But back when I did it was concluding that it's safe. As long as you don't overheat.

I think the only immediate danger to the baby is if you get to hot. Tanning in general isn't a healthy idea though, but I don't it's dangerous for the baby aside from the heat.

I would be worried about the heat.

These are my thoughts as well........ I just figured if you were in the sun/tanning bed for too long it'd be harmful.

I went tanning occasionally. As long as you don't get overheated its fine. I wouldn't go during the first trimester though.

I usually left the door cracked open (standup). I didn't go full time either, because I tan easily.

That being said, its never really a good thing to tan.

So, technically speaking, if you don't get too hot you're in a safe zone........ so to speak

You don't know when that threshold is, though. It could happen 5 minutes into the tanning session, or not until 20. I wouldn't risk it.

I definitely wouldn't use the beds where you lay down...I always got too hot in those. The standup ones aren't as bad because you aren't laying directly on the bulbs.

Lol but yeah, I've heard some people saying their doctors said it was okay for 5 minutes. And I can't help but turn my nose up to them. So, so risky.

I dunno where u all tan butt everywhere I have tanned.wich is a lot of places since I'm military there are signs inside the rooms that tell you not to tan while pregnant.
