wic vent

I went to the wic office at 10 this morning. They have to register my new LO and everything.. and the lady tells me they needed my pay stubs, which I provided before. So I had to go home. I fed the kids before going back. Now I've been sitting here since 12:30 (it is now 1:17) and they keep letting people go ahead of me because "they have appts". First off, Mondays and Thursdays are WALK IN days and Tuesday Wednesday and Friday are appt days. And I was the ONLY person here when I got here. I have a lot of other things to do today that need to be done before 4. I'm about ready to say screw it. Oh and there is only ONE lady working here today. Ughh so frustrating

so why don't you just ask to schedule an appt for anothe day?

That's why I always made appointments when we were on wic. That place can get crazy!

Because I could only find someone to watch my 3 yr old today. She doesn't listen when we go places so id rather her not come with here

You should have asked what you needed before you went. And just because there are walk in days doesn't mean that you can't make an appointment for that day, it means they accept walk ins on those days.

I really thought that appts had to be on the appt days. Lol. I'm going to make appts from now on. The thing that bothers me the most is I was the only one here when i got here, yet still have to wait over an hour

I honestly hate dealing with wic. I am grateful for the services they provide but sometimes I just hate how they try to tell me how to feed my child and all the other crap we have delt with

Ahhhh well I wouldn't be sitting there that long and I would just suck it up and bring her.

The Wic place here, I brought in 3 cans of the Gerber Good Start Gentle thinking they would trade me for 3 Gerber Good Start Soothe formula, no they gave me 1.

I did ask, and the lady told me I only needed to bring that stuff if something changed, which nothing did

And I honestly didn't know that.. but I do now.

They wouldn't trade any of my cans. They said they couldn't because it was too close to my next checks. It was one week from when my checks started

My wic is an hour away & if your more than 5 minutes late they make you reschedule. Yet when your there on time you have to sit and wait forever

If you don't like it buy your own stuff!
