feels GREAT to be a breastfeeding mom!

LO had a checkup today at 3 weeks 1 day.

She was 7.5 pounds at birth and now, she weighs 8.2 pounds  

The nurses were very pleased, said she's in the average range for weight gain and their comments made me feel awesome   I'm producing enough milk AND have a proper diet that's helping her gain  

So proud <3

i cant wait to try again with my second...my first time was just so complicated and frustrating...but i plan to pump most of the time so hopefully it works out great

Well done you!!! I'm Breastfeeding too and my little one was 8lbs 1oz at birth and by 3 weeks she was 9lbs 12ozs! It feels amazing that they are doing so well on what we are providing for them!
I love Breastfeeding SO much, me and Lilly are really close and have bonded amazingly! Aaaah I love being a mummy

good job. I've been bfing my DD for 9 months now. Although she doesn't gain as fast as your LO, she's a petite baby in the 10th percentile but perfectly healthy. She was born 8 lbs 1 oz, and at her last checkup was one pound under double her birth weight.
