Obama Or Mccain

Im bored.. so i thought i would start a thread..

My hubby is firmly against Obama he thinks that the country isn't ready for a black president. ( he isn't racist he just feels that there are enough people who are that somone would atempt to assasinate him.

I support Obama 100% so hubby and i fight alot..

Anyone else in this boat ? What are your feelings on Obama and Clinton pairing up ?
Who is a Mccain supporter? Do you think he will do better than bush ?

Im not trying to start drama so please dont let it go that way. Im just bored and wanna talk

I am all for Obama and I dont even live in the US. I just finished my degree and my last subject was racism. And sure enough, you get those "I am not racist but"...Your hubby's reason for not opting for Obama should not have anything to do with his concern for his safety, thats what I think..but yeah I am all for Obama, you guys need a change and if that means change in colour of the president as well, then so be it.

McCain...I think he'll do better than Bush just because he has more experience and isn't as conservative at Bush...

I dont think we need someone like McCain who is educated in foreign policies.. I think we should get out noses out of foreign business for a while and concentrate fixing america...

Plus, i wonder if McCain will live long enough and be healthy enough for a 4 or 8 year term

I'll be more than pissed if Obama wins, but I don't want to vote for any of them *shrug. I wish there were more options.

If obama becomes presidant he better have some damn good security cuz there are a lot of people who wont be able to accept it. As for hilary and obama teaming up, thats a 2 sided situation, it could be bad but it could work out.
Personally I HATE obama, I'd rather go McCain.

I really don't see race when I look at canidates. I would like to vote, no, for all. I think Obama has good views, but I have some thoughts on him. I know some people don't agree, but I feel he doesn't respect certain parts of our countries past. Mccain, hellll no. He is apart of Bush.

I wish there was a "NONE OF THE ABOVE" catagory to vote for... then theyd have to start fresh with new people haha.  

I am all for an Obama/Clinton team up, and I totally support Obama, but I like your hubby in a sense, I am afraid for Obama due to so many people beingagainst a black president, but then again, there are a lot of people who can't stand Bush and more than likely would like to off him too, but he didn't let that stop him from being and staying president.

I don't like Obama... I think hes slimy and talks a little too smoothly... Don't like Clinton either, I think she talks too much and does too little. McCain is who I am voting for. I dunno if he will be better than Bush, but IMHO he can't be much worse, and I agree with a good percentage of his ideas... Not all mind you, but MUCH more than I do Obama or Clinton together.

And honestly, he doesnt really represent most black people except for in his skin color... He was born in Hawaii and hes a muslim, right?? Im not hatin on him, cause right now he is my top choice...

I think McCain should just rest and play with his grandchildren or something. Besides, he is an extension of Bush...if you like Bush then go for McCain but I feel the americans are so ready for a change because of all the boloney that your current president has put you through regarding war. I mean, I shake my head every single damn time I hear/read about another bunch of young american soldiers being killed. Daily. Real Sad.

Obama isnt supposed to represent one race or color... he is representation for all of america.. and last I checked... ALL of america isnt black

Isn't Mccain like 76 or something?

I'm 100% for Obama. Mccain is another Bush our country is in the worst state it has been in in decades thanks to that party. Do we wanna take another chance on a republican? I would personally vote for Bill Clinton if it were possible!
