I can't vote because the cut off date for registering is November 4th & my birthday is the 11th... but ever since I was in 8th grade we did a mock election & I voted democratic & that's what I plan to vote that way the next election. I would vote for Obama though, I've been following the campaigns since about December.

I pesonally don't trust anything in the media and you really need to do your own research on the candidates. It is bias no matter what anyone thinks! I do not agree that McCain is an extension except the fact that he is a republican. I think we need him in order not to completely screw up Iraq. He was a prisoner of war for 5 years he has our troops best intrest in mind! IMO We can't just withdraw from Iraq it will cause major problems. But what I want is for one of the candidates to talk about what they are going to do about this gas thing! Whoever has the best plan will win the election! We are hurting!

JUst because your parents where somthing that doesn't mean anything. My parents are hardcore christians and almost disowned me when i got pregnant out of wedlock. That doesn't mean i am like them.

Being Muslim in america doesn't mean you are not american. my midwife is from jordan and is muslim and i adore her.

Do you think we should not have elected lincoln because he was assisinated? He was one of the best president's we have. Obama is who I am voting for, out of the possibilities. I reeeeally hope McCain is not elected. His policies aretoo close toBush's, which have proven themselvesnot towork.

Any president is in jeopardy of being killed. That should not be a worry to keep people from voting. Let the secret service worry about that. Does anyone watch the news? Does anyone see the poverty? I work in the Number one trauma unit in Ohio. I see the worst poverty you could imagine people that 8 years ago had good jobs and are now on the unemployment line. I see soldiers coming in after Iraq still having effects from another mans war. So I believe the people who support Bush Jr. havent seen outside their lives and into anothers. These people are stuck in the suburbs and not worrying about their next meal

The government isn't in control of private business matters. Yes, they could help lift tax, thats about it.

Im not voting...but I think that if Obama gets in there he is going to make a big mistake pulling all of our troops out so quickly. & McCain does seem like just another Bush...I was excited to have another president and be able to vote this year..now that I see who I get to vote for..it doesnt interest me what so ever.

thats what i think. i am very aware of things that are not known to alot of ppl or that ppl dont care to know of. and imo bush didnt do shit but put this country in a shit load of turmoil. he makes bad decisions. imo and cant make good speeches.lmao

One of the greatest things about out country is our constitution which allows for freedom of religion. A person's religion has no bearing on how they can run a country, and it would be ridiculous for anyone to "not vote for someone" based on their religion. Who the hell cares if Obama was born Muslim, raised Muslim or even if he still was Muslim. As long as he does his job that is what matters. Muslim does not equal bad just as christian does not equal good...It holds no importance to me when it comes to an election and it shouldn;t to other people either!
