best new parenting trick i've seen in ages!

introducing the cheap-n-easy time out bottle!



Fill a bottle with 3/4 water, one bottle of glitter glue, & ultra fine glitter. Then send this bottle with your child to timeout and they can watch it settle to calm them. Once the glitter is settled their time is up.

One of my old clients used those to settle when they were getting ready to have a behavior.

My friend posted one of those things on FB from pinterest. It looks pretty neat and easy to make too

Lol same here, or my DD will steal it from her brother and throw it (she's only 1 and too young for timeout).

I wish Liv understood the concept of time out. Redirection does NOT work on that kid, and her new thing is climbing in the window and sitting there telling all the neighbors "BYE!"

When you make it you can time the glitter to settle, more glue for longer time, more water for less time

This is an old trick. My DD would find a way to open the bottle and spill it all over the place lol.
