not ready for a serious thing

ive realized im not ready for a serious relationship but im tired of being alone. i want to date, have fun, go out, see movies, have drinks etc but literally not be restricted or confined. i know my time is limited. my son comes first and i dont want to put efforts into anything at this time . is this wrong as long as im honest from the start? i wanna be friends and maybe get together romanticaly after some time. i need someone who can deal w me and rushing into things wont make that easier.
