I'm too lazy to pump and we don't use formula so I just do boiled water.

Yes you can just make sure it comes to a proper boil and its not too hot when you feed baby.

my DD was 4 months old when i started her on cereal mixed with water/apple juice(she sometimes got plugged up and the apple juice helped her go). the Dr recommended it because DD wasn't gaining weight like the she wanted her to.

We started spoon feeding baby cereal at 3 months for DSs reflux by doctors suggestion. He started eating oatmeal and baby food at 4 months.

i wanna EBF till shes at least 6m, but shes always grabing for soild food lol, i think she like the small. Lately shes been putting just about anything she gets her hand on in her mouth.

I skipped out on pablum and went right to real steel cut oatmeal at 4 months. Then at 5.5 months I started cutting up pieces of apple and mixing in stewed up apples with some cinnamon.

DD was being seen by a dietican who was ok with it.

DS's pediatrician suggested the cutting up apple thing too! How long do you stew them for? I know he would love it just can't remember how he told me to do it

Well depends, I steam mine for like 12 min in my veggie steamer, just for her to snack on, but I make my oatmeal with the apples in it in the slow cooker over night and its ready for morning. lol
