Duloxetine

I have been given a new antidepressant to try, Duloxetine. After my experience last week with Mirtazapine, which brought on such unshakable somnolence I was not fit to look after my children (3 pro-plus, 2 coffees and one 500ml energy drink and I could still barely open my eyes standing up, was in no state to drive either, and lasted over 24 hours!) I am very very cautious about trying a new drug!
Anyone that has tried it, how did you find it in regards to awareness? Is it stimulating or sedating? I found mixed information searching online :/ idk whether to take it at bedtime or in the morning?

Just updating for anyone thinking of or about to try duloxetine.

took my first pill yesterday morning, felt quite speedy all day, and in the afternoon through til bedtime i was clenching my jaw like i was on MDMA or something! i didn't feel euphoric though, just not depressed- which is what i wanted it for, so all good!

last night i woke up several times in the night, which is very unusual for me- i felt like i was slightly under the influence of a stimlulant. and in the morning when i got up at 6.30am to get the kids ready for school i was perky from go, whereas normally i'm a bit groggy until i've had a cup of coffee!

so it's not sedating at all! quite the opposite! i would not advise taking this drug at bedtime!

today has been much better, i am not getting the annoying speed/MDMA-like physical side effects   and i'm feeling nice and "normal", and not depressed for a change  

it's early days yet but will see how it goes
