What is this? (rash)

I know these aren't great pictures. It was hard for me to get a picture of the spots on her arm, but they are on both arms. Last night I was giving her a bath and I noticed some spots on her arms near her armpits but they were bigger. I didn't know if it was from me picking her up or something so I just said that I would look at it again this morning. And now this is what is there

My best guess is it's hives.

Should I take her to get it looked at? It's not covering her whole body, only on certain spots of her arms and legs

It's kinda hard to see....can you get a closer picture?

Let me try to get some better pics. Because I do want others opinions on it I don't want to just rush to the doctor.

I always take my kids in when they get a rash because it's so hard to figure out if it's harmless or a sickness.

ould it be eczema? Dexter's started off small like that.it's on his arms and legs aswell. x

Did you give your lo something different to eat or new meds? Sometimes a rash can happen when your allergic to something.

Maybe eczema... I really don't like what it looks like in the armpit and that it's starting in sweaty areas (not that she's sweaty). I would probably have it looked at or you can try some eucerine to see if it helps. I've never taken my kids in unless it was a rash associated with a fever or illness unless it won't go away. Is she sick?

I just called her doctor's office and spoke to medical assistance and she said it sounds like fifths disease. She said I shouldn't bring her in unless she develops a fever or has any other sick symptoms. I'm about to take her temp to see if she does have a fever. She said if it is fifths that it basically just has to run it's course? Ugh

I hope not! My kids haven't had that but I heard it can be pretty miserable.

She had what seemed to be a cold for the past week+ but it seems to be pretty much gone now. She had a fever a day or two before she really started getting sick symptoms for that. Other than that she is not sick. Should I be concerned about that?

I don't think it is fifths. It looks nothing like it. I'm calling back. Lol
