My weightloss journey *pics*

posted 14th Jan
I am trying to keep track of my weight loss journey because if I don't I have a tendency to slack off

I signed up for the gym the last day of December and have been going 3-4 days a week (I can only go on non work days). I am trying to eat clean, except when I do it too extreme I end up binging on junk. So I'm doing semi clean I guess... Definitely no fast food, soda, candy, etc. I allow myself one treat day a week (me and SO usually go out to dinner) but even then I try and order something healthy. My biggest thing I need to work on is drinking more water! I have such a hard time with that...

Well here are some pictures of me pre pregnancy:

*Sorry best body shots I could find at the moment. I was a 110 lbs, 5'0, a 34 DD bra size, S/M shirt, 0/1 pant size.

I gained 61 lbs   and I am having a super hard time losing the weight

I am 7 months PP right now and I weighed myself at the gym the other day, I am currently 133 lbs.

Here is my progress so far (about 3 weeks of working out, but slacking off big time with eating healthy.). Can you see a difference? I can, but I know my body so it could just be enough for me to notice.

Don't mind the smurfing disgusting room behind me, its the only room we have a full mirror and we are in the middle of redoing it.

I am going to try and update weekly, although sometimes that may not be possible!

Feel free to motivate me, leave tips, recipes, whatever! I appreciate it!

Yes you can definitely see a difference. Keep up the good work! I need to buckle down and start losing weight too. I was 142lbs then I had two back to back pregnancies and was on anti depressants for ppd and I gained 100 lbs   I have only lost 60lbs of it so far. I have ahard time drinking water as well, I love my diet pepsi too much.
try drinking flavored water like propel. If you miss the carbonation try drinking carbonated flavored water, like the kind they sell at walmart. Good luck, mama!

At the gym I do 2 miles on the bike, 1 mile jogging/fast walking on the treadmill, 1 mile elliptical, 4 sets of 10 ab machine, and 3 sets of 10 on different leg/arm machines.

and thanks!

I recommend signing up for myfitnesspal.com

It really helps you keep track of what you are putting in your mouth.

I also refuse to buy any drinks but Almond Milk, Water, and no sugar added Juice that I don't like, but LO does. That way, the only options is milk, water, or, for cravings, Hot Tea.

I don't buy sweets except for skinny cow ice cream bars, which are 100 calories. If I have a sweet tooth, I either have one of those, or Black Tea/Coffee.

Make sure your biggest meal is breakfast and have a banana or almonds after a good workout, along with two cups of water. Portion the rest of your meals so 1/2 of the meal is veggies.

You are doing great so far! I can really see the change!

I tried p90x when I was like 5 months PP and I just couldn't do it. I was slacking off to easily because I was at home. If I push my ass out the door and get to the gym, i'm actually going to work out because I'm out of the house...

I don't know i'm weird lol. But thank you! I really hope I can tighten up my stomach and get my skinny legs back lol. I'm really trying to buckle down, I want a decent body for summer!

I did it once after I had my 2nd child and it really worked so I'm excited to see results this time. I'm the opposite, I hate the gym lol. I tried it before I did P90x and couldn't get motivated there. But everyone is different and whatever works for them is what they should do.

Lucky for me I hate soda. I will drink moutain dew, root beer, or sprite if its the only option... but juice is my go to. I could drink juice all day, of course juice is full of sugar

Thank you!

Thank you! I've always been a huge junk eater but before my daughter I would never gain a pound.
