can I use anti fungal even tho I am pregnant

so I am pretty sure I have freakin ring worm....I swore I was done taking in foster critters ....anyway damn kitten pretty sure the bitch gave it to me and anyway can I use the typical anti fungal cream while I am pregnant to fix it like I normally would or is there some bigger issue about it I should go to the er for since ob care right now is still out of the equation till febuary?

u should be fine to use an OTC anti fungal, but im not positive on that.

when i google it, they say it is fine to use an OTC anti fungal.

You can call & talk to your doctor if you're nervous & ask..... but I picked up some kind of skin fungus (looks similar to ringworm but it isn't) from my job (I work at a nursing home). I got it from my neck to the tops of my thighs. My doctor said to use Lotrimin (I got the Walmart brand clotrimazole ---- same stuff, twice the amount, half the price). It's worked really well so far. Good Luck!

thought id use the basic equate brand anti fungal to fix it like always but you never know there may be some wierd ass thing that makes the ring worm sit on your babies head and dance and go into labor early or some other crap...anytime I think something is no big deal it usually ends up the opposite unless I check it out big time

No problem --- and especially after having losses, you're just extra anxious about everything ---- "should I use this?" "what if this causes m/c?" etc etc I don't even like taking Tylenol when I have a headache! lol

And when in doubt, I always check the back of the box.... if there's a warning about being pregnant or breastfeeding, I don't use it unless I ask the doctor first.

and I will look up that exact strain to be sure but yea I do the same cheap is good lol I hate when this happens too I keep saying I will quit helping critters while pregnant psh yea didnt work out ....must learn to say no to cute helpless abused animals and just be happy being cranky with bad fosters and arrange for other people to do the job but dammit when you need a job done right you gotta do it yourself

Oh gosh! I'm the same way about critters... and that's how I ended up with 6 cats & 2 dogs..... lol

DD has had it. We just used clear nail polish and it worked great

even tho I have an engineering degree and prefer welding and I am an army wife so we never sit still and I have a son ...lol at least I dont work with the possibly dangerous ones anymore just the dumb rash inducing ones who were supposed to be checked out already but isnt that always the story ...oh we already had them vetted and gave it shots...I swear I will kiss the next owner who just honestly tells me they couldnt help the poor thing out other than giving it food and a home I wont judge I swear I get it and dont hate people for it I just hate being lied to when I know your freaking lying ...and I hate myself for not being more through about looking the damn thing over
