overly sensitive

my son will be 2 next month and lately hes been overly sensitive about everything. he was never like this before i am really hoping its just a phase. Any other moms have kids that go through this cause hes driving me insane

My 3 year old DD is going through this phase right now.Telling her not to do something will have her crying and saying you hurt her feelings, lol. She has been this way for about a month now. I am hoping it goes away soon as well. It makes me feel bad every time I see her little lip quivering and her eyes filling up with tears over nothing.

Yup- just wait till they get older it gets worse!!! DS is 4 and OMG it's insane. He balled cryin cause I called him silly one day. It seems to be a phase he goes in and out of as he grows im assuming its just his hormones and everything changing so quickly that he has times where he can't control all the emotion.

Acknowledge their feelings and help them to find a more appropriate response.

LOL, sounds just like my DD. She started crying the other day cause DS told her that her dancing was funny. It hurt her feelings.
