Baby's low heart rate...

posted 14th Jan
I wanted to see is this happened to anyone and the outcome. Right now I feel so sad and I do not know if there's any hope.

How far along are you? The fetal heart rate fluctuates throughout the pregnancy. It starts off low, then gets higher, then gradually decreases.

Oh. Yeah, it shouldn't ever be that low. What did your doctor say? Did they find it via doppler? Are they certain it's not yours?

They did a vaginal ultrasound. I have to go back on Thursday to see if there's a change.

Well, good luck with everything. At my 6 week ultrasound, the HR was 117. At 8 weeks, it was 174.

It is very low for 7 weeks, but could they be off in gestation? Did he say the fetal development was right for 7 weeks. When they can very first find the HB on u/s (sometimes as early as around 5 weeks) you can have very low fetal heart rates & have it still be normal. It increases by about 3 beats a day I think until it gets quite high...but it starts off pretty low. Again though, by 7 weeks you are talking over 100 usually.

I am just praying for a miracle. They told me that I was a little dehidrated and prescribe something for the nausea. I hope they are off...
