Cloth diapering question

Okay so my question wasn't answered on the first part of the FAQ I found for cloth diapering on here, and I don't want to go through all of the pages and not even find what I'm looking for..

Do you just throw the whole diaper in the washer, poop and all? Also with a poopy diaper do you just throw it in a pail with the pee diapers and let them sit until you do laundry again?

Do you ladies who cloth diaper use disposable wipes? or do they make like.. soft washcloths specifically made to be wipes? Sorry if my questions seem stupid, I'm a noob lol.

I'm seriously thinking of starting cloth diapering, anything to save a few dollars [or in this case 50+ a month] and I also would need some help convincing my SO that it's worth doing. I mentioned it to him once and he was like "No, gross." But I don't see a big difference in letting the diapers sit in a pail until they get washed or letting them sit in the garbage until it gets taken out y'know? Help me convince him  

This is how I handle dirty diapers
Pee goes straight into the wet bag and then into the washer.
Poop-
When she was EBF I would do a quick swish in the toilet if it was alot and it went into the wet bag with all the other diapers until wash day.
When she started solids I bought a diaper sprayer to spray the poop off then it goes into the bag.

Yes they make cloth wipes I still use disposables wipes though.

They smell far less because you can wash the bag plus you never run out of diapers in the middle of the night.

You spray or shake off solids into the toilet. You should spray pee diapers as well to reduce the ammonia smell, then they go in the pail.
That's about it.   It's pretty simple.

You can make your own cloth wipes from old receiving blankets, but I just use huggies wipes.

What the others said, but I used cloth wipes in the end. In the beginning there was only one brand of wipes he could use, and would break out with cloth wipes. It was a huge pain in the ass throwing poopy wipes into my trash can *gag* I use cloth everything now though, even toilet paper. I just hate throwing stuff away

Online, or you can make your own with parts from HOme Depot.

What is your favorite brand of diaper? They only sell 1 brand at meijers and It's only one diaper and it's super expensive, what are the good websites to buy them from?

I have heard alvababy.com sells them for pretty good price. I have to buy some myself.

My favorites were Rumparooz, AMP's, Sunbaby, Alvababy for pockets. Squishy Butt's for fitteds and AI2s. Swaddlebees Simplex and BumGenius for AIOs. Though, I rarely used anything but fitteds and pockets. Sunbaby, Alva, JCTrade and QQBaby were always my first grabs, and those you can get for under $5 with inserts through co ops.

I also buy my detergent on there, my wet bags, you can get some brand name diapers on there.

Yep, it was around $30 for all the parts. I ended up with an extra part though somehow

Wait so they have like a kit or something specifically for this? I thought you just like made your own that you picked out the parts and stuff lol.
