Yea I think I'm going to do it. It will cost more money up front but be waaay cheaper in the long run. And I would be the one washing the diapers anyways so technically SO gets no say since he would be doing the same thing he's doing now, just throwing the diapers into something lol.

How many diapers should I get to start out with? And I really don't know which type to get.   Guess I'm gonna be doing alot of research tonight haha.

What everyone else said, but I use cloth wipes. I make my own solution and just put it in a spray bottle. I spray each wipe before I use it. Poop gets flushed before going into the wetbag, but breastfed poop can go straight into the wash since it breaks down. I have over 30 diapers, but am selling my fuzzibunz if you are interested. They are the one size elite version, so they grow with babies from NB to potty trained. feel free to PM if you are interested at all  

its up to you how you want to go about it. Poo needs to be removed but breastfed poop is water soluble. I keep my plastic grocery bags and scoop with the bag and toss solid ones, diarrhea I have to scoop off but I just bought a toilet sprayer to make that easier, you washer will take care of tiny poop particles on the diapers it really isnt seomting to knit pick about unless youre anal like that. I just toss both into the same wet bag, if i am near a toilet I will toss poop in instead of tossing in plstic bag in trash.

I have a large enough stash that I can go about every other day without washing. I personally dont think you should go more than 2 days of letting them sit in a wetbag. Wash as frequently as your stash demands... Ammonia can build up in fibers over time no matte rhow you wash them so you might run into a "stink" probably later on that can be fixed very easily by different methods, one I know of is boiling the diaper.

Thank you guys for all the info   I still have to convince SO.. He says "It seems like more work than needs be done." even though I'm the one who would be doing all the extra work anyways   he wont even listen to my "it saves ALOT of money" argument -_-

Lol what extra work. Its like 3 maybe 4 loads of laundry a week. Diapers are my easiest laundry ever.

He thinks that because you have to spray out the poopy diapers that it's "extra work" I told him I would handle spraying the poop diapers and he still said no   He's crazy, I'll keep working on it though I'm not taking no for an answer lol.

Just do it. He will soon find out that its not all that hard. Spraying diaper= taking the trash out.

I would just do it, but atm he's the only source of income I have so I have to get him to agree to it. Or I could be super sneaky and ask my grandma if we can skip out on rent for a week because I want to buy cloth diapers. He'd give her the money and she'd give it to me? It could work lol. My grandma was big into cloth diapering and was upset that I thought it would be more work and gross during my pregnancy but after actually looking into it and having more info I really want to do it, I think it would make her happy enough to lend me back our rent money
