I have the D3100 and the D5100, love them both. I don't do to many indoor sessions but i'm trying to get into wedding photography and sadly most are indoors lol. I've thought about getting one of these, but i'm worried its going to make a harsh lighting like the built in flash does which makes it a pain to edit anything. Did you like it?

It doesn't make harsh lighting because it rotates. You rotate it 90* to bounce off the ceiling and it creates a nice smooth light. I liked it, and it works well, I just don't have any use for it

I just read up on it and says it's not good for places with high ceilings which is something I could run into with churches and reception venues

Oh yeah I didn't think about like, huge churches. Yeah for big places you'd probably need the Sb700 at the least.

It'll work with the D3100?
