any tips for bathing my LO??
he absolutely hates being in his little tub, because he is so small I havent been pushing the issue, just sponge baths.
He has had a total of 2baths since he's been home,he freaks in the water but if you pour the water over his hair he relaxes he loves it!....just not anywhere else on his body or he will scream bloody murder.

Just do it quick or try co-bathing one the cord comes off.

I'm assuming he still has his cord? It gets easier once they aren't in the air and they can be immersed. They get cold fast. I'd just try to do quick baths.

his cord is off he is almost 7weeks. sometimes I get ready to do a "quick" bath and as soon as any part of him hits the water he screams like im killing him and it breaks my heart.

I would co-bathe then. Then he can be immersed in water and not catch a draft. They get cold super easily.

Have you tried showering with him?
You might not find anything that he'll like, unfortunately. LO is six weeks and adores being in the water but his big brother didn't care for it until he was like three or four months old.

My daughter had a sensitivity to touch issue and hated baths too. The nurses told me to wrap her in a receiving blanket and put her into the tub like that and wash one part of her body at a time and then take her quickly out of the water into a warm towel.
It sounds a little crazy and it is kinda messy but I did it for 2 months with her and it worked wonders. The blanket made her feel much more comfortable instead of having to be naked.

sounds like an excellent idea. i may try that. thank you. because he does hate being naked. even when I sponge bathe him,I cover him and do do body parts at a time.
