A friend of mine wants to sell hers but doesn't know what to ask for it.

Flat screens that size don't go for much anymore. I think the last time I checked they were going for about $150 maybe? That's at the cheapest. Depending on the actual specifications and such it could go up to much more than that.

Well me and SO bought at emerson 20 inch tv at the pawn shop for about $80.
Since it's Samsug I'd sell yours for $100 depending on how old it is.
