I can see where she is coming from in the sense that she went through those things and they are an attribute to a life of horribleness. While it doesn't make sense to the rest of us - as it shouldn't - she is finding a causal relationship where there is none.

What will you do if your child is 4 or 5 and not speaking? Just let them suffer with not being able to communicate? Or get them some help?

You are old enough to know that what YOU need is therapy, not a child!

I haven't read any of the replies, but I'm sorry you feel that way. You do NOT have to be a bitch to get by imo. I'm doing just fine, and I'm only a bitch online (which helps me with zero advances). And as for your certainty of having a "normal" child, I think that's sad. Seriously, who cares if they have special needs. It doesn't mean they aren't entitled to and can't live a normal life in most cases.
