Movies that scared you as a kid?

I was browsing e-bay and came across the movie "Short Circuit"
Yea.. That one movie about that robot. Well, all I really remember about is being scared smurfless by it. LOL. I was scared of E.T., Robcocop, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and even parts of Big. Which is funny cause horror is my favorite genre and NONE of these were scary...

James and the Giant Peach.

Chucky.

It! I saw that when I was 5 and it scarred me for life. Clowns still give me the creeps.
Also Pet Semetary.

"gremlins" scared the smurf out of me. "pet semetary".... all the freddy and jason movies. "the birds"--oooh, i hated that one.

E.T is scary now!


And It! I still wont walk by drainage ditches. *shiver*

Ghostbusters, specifically the part in the library where the ghost gets loud.

Nothing scared me more then the Ghostbusters cartoon with the boogie man though!

My mom tells me that I had nightmares that Gargamel (sp?) got the Smurfs, but I don't remember that.

Chucky [Child's Play]. And I still refuse to sleep with my feet hanging off the bed because of that movie Little Monsters w/Fred Savage!

I had a babysitter when I was little, like..5 or 6. She was a PSYCHOPATH. She had me convinced the gremlins lived in her basement after forcing me to watch the movies over and over again. I still remember waking up from naps and SEEING them outside, I smurf you not   I still can't stand the sight of them.

I don't know why the hell my mom let me watch that movie, but it scared the crap out of me, and I'm scared of clowns to this day!!

I hated Chucky too! I always had that my cousin had that dang "My Buddy" doll. Look to much like that sucker.
