You too, huh? Wtf is wrong with our mothers?? I would never let my 5 year old watch that. I was scared to go into my school's bathroom and peed my pants once because I didn't want to go in alone. Also any drains scared me..

Drains scared me for a long time. After watching that movie at a sleepover, my friends and I had to stay watch outside of the bathroom door because we were scared to go alone. LOL

I was also worried every time I washed my hands or took a shower. I kept waiting to see if blood was going to come out. I still to this very day, cant close my eyes for long in the shower. Freaks me out.

Yes!!! I don't know what her deal was, but she let me watch all kinds of smurf...Friday the 13th, Freddy Kreuger, The Poltergeist (which perpetuated my fear of clowns). For the love of God... she thought it was "fun" to have movie nights where we would have Hitchcock marathons. I was like 4-5!!! "IT" was the one that really got to me, though... lol

Also- my mom was a good mom, she just had serious lapses in judgement... haha

I have only seen this movie once and cant find it anywhere but it was call "Happy Birthday to me".

I watched it and it scared me so bad I had nightmares. It was aboit this girls birthday and a killer was murdering everyone who was supposed to go to her birthday party. At the end of the movie the girl has all her relatives skeletons sitting around the table with her cake and candles lit and shes singing "happy birthday to me".

When I was 4 my gramma fell asleep watching Jaws, and we had just watched the part where the girl was dragged under and nommed, and my gramma told me that it was bathtime.
And X - Files theme song use to scare the ever living smurf out of me. And when I would hear it was when I was going to or lying in bed. Creepy....

I can truthfully say I can't remember watching a single movie as a kid that scared me. I LOVED horror movies as a kid, still do. Child's Play was my favorite, I had one of the original Chucky dolls and played with that thing until it fell apart. I used to scare the smurf out of little brother with it.   However, Pulse, scared the Smurf out of me. I had nightmares for weeks. I don't even know why either, I still get the heebie jeebies thinking about it. Lol.
