questions!!

ok so I'm 35 weeks pregnant, I have two dogs, 1 female 1 male, the female has been acting strange. for the past week she has been constantly following me around ( she's a daddy's girl btw). she would not leave me alone & laying on my belly, nudging it and such. so I wasccurious to know if anyone else's pets reacted differently before they went into labor? My other question was, I heard that taking evening primrose oil in a capsule would help soften my cervix and speed things up a bit, my baby is already close to 6.5-7lbs and I don't wanna risk pushing out a 10lb baby, big babies run in my family. I know its not "healthy" inducing your self, so please no lectures, I just want to know if anyone has tried it and if it helped with speeding things a bit..?

The estimated weight is often off by a pound or two. Just be patient and wait it out.

EPO won't put you into labor, but it may help you dilate faster once labor starts so your labor is shorter.

You can start it at 36w

I have heard animals can sense when labor is coming. Taking EPO won't induce you, but yes it can help soften your cervix. There's no harm in taking it. I'll also tell you that ultrasounds are usually WAY off about weight. With both of my girls I was told I'd have an 8-10lb baby. DD weighed 6lbs 11oz (I went a week overdue with her too.) LO was 6lbs 12oz at 38 weeks and I had gestational diabetes. Don't count on a 10lb baby. With that all said, nothing you do to induce yourself is going to work unless your body is ready anyways but for the love of god, at least wait until you're term. You do NOT want a preemie no matter how much she weighs. Baby will come when she's ready.

I started the tablets yesterday three times a dag orally, but it gave me bad burps and the after taste after I burned was enough to make me gag so I stopped....lol

Also, pushing out a 10lb baby isn't all that hard. It was actually pretty friggin awesome   even without an epi  

sex helps trigger labor if your body is ready, the uterus contracting from orgasm can spur the big contractions on and the semen softens the cervix

You're supposed to do them vaginally, actually.

Vaginally works better and no nasty aftertaste.

Yea I know, I was going to do them orally for a week then Start vaginally at 38 weeks, but I already gave up... Lol

Yeh everyone I know who has been told their fetus weight was off by at least one pound, some by 3 O.O Not exact science unfortunately lol

Get some man juices up in ya, eat some fresh raw pineapple, walk a lot, have some chinese food with msg in it, primrose capsuls in ya aaaaand I can't think of any other ones LOL

I have heard that animals can sense stuff like that so it's possible!
