tilting head to one side

Since this morning, my 7 month old has been randomly tilting her head quickly to her right side. She does it quickly, all the way to her shoulder and then puts it back up. It's almost like her whole body goes to the side. She doesn't seem to be in any distress and isn't doing anything else out of the ordinary.
It's freaking me out. I'm going to call the doctor in the morning, but does anyone know what this could be in the meantime??

I dont see anything wrong with with what you posted. I think she is realizing she can now just tilt her head. lol.

But it's not like she's purposely doing it. It looks like it's out of her control.. That her body is making her, like a spasm. And it's only the right side. If she was doing it purposely, wouldn't she do it on both sides?

No... I dont think so... but im no doctor.

Maybe its hard to know without seeing it? But I was also thinking that she may have just learned how to tilt her head. When they learn something new they like to do it over and over.
But I don't know...

Maybe she has an ear infection in that ear?

My 6 1/2 month old dd starting doing that over the holidays a few wks back. At first we didnt really think to much of it, but around the second day with her still doing it we got worried and took her to the er (xmas day and drs office closed). It ended up being a bulging inner ear infection. 10days of antibiotics and shes ok now  . She should get it checked out!

She stopped but did it a few times last night. I'm going to call the doctor this morning.
