Cramping/back pain 36 weeks

posted 13th Jan
Such bad cramping that wraps around my back to my entire belly, and pain level would be what I'd used to call it before I got pregnant. "Painful" lol. I can work through them But honestly they're getting worse, they're just BH right? She's pressing down on my cervix and what not. Everyone including my doctor and my paper work I had to fill out at the first apt. told me to compare my labor, to my mothers. She had me around 36-37 weeks. And I'm not afraid I know she'll be healthy and developed I'd definitely like to keep her in as long as possible but I know it's a possibility she may come term. Not full term, or due. I don't know if I actually have any real questions in this thread lol. I've been watching birth videos lately and I'm a little out of it, nervous about labor. I've been rambling to anyone who's willing to listen lately.

I will. They last way to long to be real contractions from what I hear those only last from a minute to a minute in a half, but they come on ridiculously. Like every 5 minutes. And nice, lucky laboring there.  !

Definitely try and time them if you can...I am getting cramping again like your describing...it was just from all the pressure the baby was causing. I got it really bad around 34 weeks and it was from the contractions I was having..causing my stomach to cramp in between....
Hope you feel better, but just try and take it easy...I'm getting all the crazy pains and pressure and twinges now..it's crazy and my contractions (NOT STICKING) but when they come it's like WOAH OW! SO I'm nervous that when this baby does come that its gonna be extreme and fast...bleh

My cramps have always been hot and dull. That's what this feels like. I have a really high pain tolerance, at the same time. Labors going to hit and I'm just going to hit the floor I just know it. I hope you feel better too. I wish for no early nor over due babies. Here here.

Good luck this time, I would definitely hope for an hour labor. I'll take an hour with the worst contractions than 36 with back to back dull ones.

I went into labor at 37 weeks started out the way you described but my back pain never let up about 11 hours into it..I timed them and they never got closer to 4 mins I did this at home for over 24 hrs. Bn my first I had no clue what to expect..The pain just kept getting worse and worse to where I just knew I was in labor...If it gets to where you cant sleep or rest then you are more than likely in early labor but everyone is different and bn 36 weeks id go in if you think you are. My son was born at 37 weeks and still had to get sent to the NICU for a week. Then again others come at 35 0r 36 and perfectly fine. Good luck

I don't think I'm in labor but I do think it'll be here sooner than most new moms. My back finally let up about 30 minutes after posting this. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it though. Thanks I'm tired of people assuming because I'm a new mom and they were over due that I'll be over due. And I'm worrying or anticipating for nothing. I know my body whether I know child labor or not I can tell somethings changing.

I bet you are dialating. I was dialated to 3cm at 35 weeks. I has period like cramping then not too painful but I could def feel it. People told me that dont mean a thing well for me it kinda did because at 36 weeks I lost my plug lol got the same responses about that saying that dont mean he will be here soon well he sure was here at 37 weeks actually the day I had him would of made me 37 weeks. We know our bodys and if you feel your LO may arrive a tad sooner then 40 weeks then you are more than likely right. Not all first time moms go overdue but how people say your first labor is the worst that may be true. I hope my 2nd baby will be a lil easier.
