Watch the video.
I am sort of on the fence about this, I think it is AMAZING, but from what this little boy says he eats, sleeps, and studies. His parents dont let him play video games or anything. I think that it is amazing that he is that smart, but he is still only ten years old! No matter how smart he is I think he should still be doing 10 year old things, but then again if you can get into college at 10 years old why not!? He seems okay with it all, but maybe thats just because it is all he has ever know. Opinions? Debate and discuss!

thats different. but i think its a cultural thing. from what i've heard in china their schooling is so different. they go at such fast paces and work soooo hard compared to american school systems. its just different to see in america i guess. it makes me sad for him not being able to do more child like activities. but even without 8 hours a day of studying i'm guessing he would still be much more advanced than the average kid and its good he isn't being held back. but a 10 year old with 2 years of college under his belt?! my god!

i think that he is missing out on his childhood and thats sad.Its great that he is so advanced and smart but 8 hours of studying is a bit much.If he is naturally that smart maybe the could cut the studying time in half.I dont know it just makes me sad that he dosent get to go out and have fun or play video games and such.....

I saw this yesterday and it made me sad for him when he said all he does is study. IMO it's a bit much. Yeah it's amazing he's so smart and already in college, however, I think he's missing out on his childhood.

I agree. I definatly think that he is missing out on his childhood. I doubt he really has many friends his age or anything.
