My husband wants a baby

He woke me up yesterday to tell me he wants a baby.

I'm a bit on the fence. I want us to get a 3rd row vehicle and have a bit more saved. I am not opposed to another but he like full on wants one. He has a Pinterest and on his board "my wife" he has maternity shirts pinned  


I feel a bit guilty I'm not like yaaaay baby!

Don't feel guilty. YOU are the one who has to go through 9 months of unpleasantness and then the birth. He just gets to enjoy the end result! He needs to be understanding if you are not quite ready, and just explain to him you'd prefer to wait until you guys have this that or the other thing prepared and ready before having another.

The pinterest this is kinda weird though LOL Maybe see if a puppy will do the trick, that's what I did when I was baby crazy ;) Totally worked for two years!

Don't feel bad. I want a baby and my DH doesn't. You should both want it.

Have one so I can live vicariously through you. I finally got Matt to talk marriage so I'm taking baby steps with implementing babies.  

We had DS1 just over 11 weeks ago and SO is already talking about number two lol. I want to be not pregnant for at least a year before we have number two  
DS wasn't planned, and we're both not working at the moment so we're DEFINITELY not in the place I want to be when I get pregnant next. I'm already back on depo to make sure it doesn't happen. I don't want to raise two kids on limited income, I'd like SO to be back at work before we even consider another.
Maybe talk to your hubby and work on a timeframe? Like, you're not opposed but want to wait x amount of time and have x amount in the bank? Surely he'd see the sense in it

I enjoy labor and feel sexier pregnant lol he rubs my back and tries making me as comfy as possible.

I'm going to talk to him about my "stipulations" lol really 3rd row vehicle is my big thing. I bf, cloth diaper and am thrifty so not to concerned about the money part.

Lmao his Pinterest is actually pretty awesome. He's home in the morning since he works mids and does crafts with the kids and makes good food stuff off Pinterest while I'm at work.

&Yes! And this time HE brought it up. We have a long road to recovery but we're taking baby steps.

We both have good jobs so we could probably have a new vehicle saved up for (I don't want a payment) in a few months. I'm going to talk to him tonight more about it.

I refuse to have sex in April or may though lol we have 2 January babies already

Mine started talking #2 while I was in labor with our son   lol

Mine wants a baby too! he goes and gets pregnancy tests and makes me pee on them and he has a pintrest

I would love a baby but being pregnant was the works time of my life and I can't do that again while trying to take care of a 1 year old

Lol fair enough! You'd want to spread them out a bit more   DS, SO and I all have birthdays in October, so when it is time for number two I'm going try for a different month lol. Although not being pregnant over summer was pretty awesome

Oh my god lol, if SO had brought it up while I was in labor I would have been like "NO I'M NEVER DOING THIS AGAIN! NEVER!!!!!"  
It's awesome though that they want more. Before DS SO was pretty meh when it came to kids. Now that he knows what it's like he wants to have another one ASAP

My husband is THRILLED ours will be 14 months apart. I'm thinking "Yeah cuz you're not home with them all day!" lol. I just laughed and told him we should work on getting the first one out. Which ended up being 24 hours and a csection later lol
