Had baby taken out before 30 weeks due to placenta issues?

It's starting to look like this *might* happen to me but we will know more by Tuesday, Friday, and the following Tuesday(ultrasounds). If my fluid levels aren't going back up and he's not growing correctly they will probably want to deliver him. I'll be 28 1/2 weeks.
How far along were you when they did it? Why? How did your baby do?

Mine was 29 wks to the day but was because of pre-e. she did wonderful.

I have no advice, but just wanted to say good luck with your situation and I hope everything turns out okay. That sounds so scary!

Did you get the steroid shots beforehand? How long was she in the NICU/ when did you get to bring her home? What did she have to have done to her there? How much did she weigh? When were you able to start breastfeeding(if you did, if you didn't then bottle feeding)?
How much did she weigh when you brought her home?

My nephew was born at 29 weeks he weighed 2lbs 13oz and was in the nicu for 8 weeks after about a week they started feelings to see if he could tolerate it... We had a few down days but other than that he did amazing... Lots of skin to skin and jus bein there helps and jus make sure u try to stay strong because if u aren't strong they can feel that and then they won't be... I hope if u have to deliver that everything turns out good for u...

4 weeks ago this was where i was, had a scan and baby wasnt growing properly, i was sent to hospital for monitoring , the next day he was out by emergancy section because his heartrate kept dipping, little luke was 2lb 8oz and 30+1 weeks. He is in special care now, he started in intensive care, then high dependancy, then came out of his incubator (issolette) to a cot, he had CPAP for 2 days, and phototherapy twice for jaundice. He now weighs 3lb 8oz and should be home in 2 weeks, he can feed from breast and bottle. But still has badicardic desaturation, so is still monitored and on caffine, but as this week goes on that should ease off. Good luck and i hope it all goes well for you xxxx

I have no personal experience but my cousin was born at 27 weeks, she's almost 11 now. She was in the NICU for a few months.

I'm sorry I just saw this. I did get both shots she was 2lbs 3oz and did great. She was never on the vent just cpap for about 24 hrs I wasn't with her for the first day. Then she was on the nose thingy for a couple weeks. They Wednesday her off it so she would be taken off at times and then she would have her Brady's. she had a lot of Iv's but no central line I wish they would have though teeny babies gains blow often so a lot of her iv's were on her scalp. The only other thig she has was a feeding tube. I was not able to nurse as they really don't know how to suck and breath at the same time. You can pump and hold baby close so you get that connection. And they train them to suck usually a pacifier the bottle just make sure you put a sticky note in her room saying to use your milk 1st but don't fret if you do t have enough. She was 6lbs when she came home. If you need to talk at all let me know and I will give you my number. Sorry about any typos and stuff I'm ony pho e and its goin nuts!

but I've been keeping you and little man in my thoughts since your water broke.
Notice they moved your due date from the 7th to the 12th, was he not as far along as previously thought?
Keeping my fingers crossed for you guys.

My middle daughter was born.at 28w4d Dec 11'. She did great, spent 12 weeks in the nicu. Got both steroids with her. Had my 3rd almost 6 weeks ago at 29w1d. She is doing great. 28 weeker was 2lbs 12oz and my 29 weeker 2lbs 13oz. Btw with my 29 weeker we only managed 1 shot
