Both my babies have slept that way and I think it is really normal. Is he teething? It always seemed like when I thought I would actually lose my mind, we had a few good nights to recover

He doesn't seem to be. He cut his second tooth 2 weeks ago, and started drooling and acting like he was teething about a week after...but he's stopped since then.

This is pretty much my 6 month old. He physically cannot sleep. I'm making an appointment with his pedi this week to see what she says. He's going on 40 something hours with no sleep and he's just kind of whining softly and closing his eyes.

40 something hours?? Ok, you win...or lose, depending on how you look at it...

DS had 2 naps today -- 1 was about an hour, and I'm sure it would have been longer, but of course the stupid phone had to ring and wake him up   and the other nap was a whopping 20 minutes

He's asleep now, and has been for the last hour and a bit...so I'm hoping he's either down for the night, and this is officially the end of his smurffy non-sleeping ways. I really want to have a good sleep tonight...*crosses fingers*

I hope you and your DS can get some much needed rest soon!

I'm lucky if DS will nap at all, let alone for an hour. It's usually around 20 minutes too. He finally passed out around 9 last night and just woke up.   He woke every hour or so to nurse but when he goes back to sleep after, it's a blessing! lol.
