How long do you usually marinade stuff? Specifically chicken. I've never marinaded anything.. I usually just dip my chicken in seasoned olive oil and grill it.. But I decided to try something different so I picked up an herb and garlic marinade at the store earlier. So I've had it in the fridge for about 50 minutes now.. I read on the back at least 30 minutes.. But in your opinion what's the best amount of time?
Then, do I need to grease up my George Foreman or anything? Or just put the chicken straight on it? I know the olive oil thing makes it not stick, so I'm wondering if it will stick with just marinade.. Sorry if this is dumb.. I'm not a good cook yet, still learning!
I marinade any meat overnight in the fridge and for the George Foreman I just take a pastry brush with some oil and brush it on, just because it has stuck a few times.
