ttc question

My cycle is usually 28 days. However, my luteal period is off by 2-3 days. I sometimes get a positive OPK on CD 14 & 15 and I think I ovulate on CD 16. Once in a while I will get a positive OPK on CD 12 & 13 and will ovulate on CD 14. This makes "catching" hardier especially when SO lives 45 minutes away and I work 40+ hours a week.

We use to BD the first day I got a positive OPK and hope for the best..this hasn't ending in a pregnancy.

I got my positive OPK's on CD 14 & 15 and on CD 16 we BD. fingers crossed!

my question is, do you ovulate during an LH surge or after a LH surge? I am a little confused..lol

It's best to have sex when you're surging so the sperm have time to make it to the tubes to catch the egg.

My understanding is that you surge and then ovulate.
