Sulfur smell at 3am

I've posted about this before, but it seems to have gotten worse in the past week! I always wake up around 3am to a horrific sulfur smell in our bedroom. It's awful, like rotting eggs. DH never smells it! It's so gross and makes me nauseous! I've heard about 3am being the devils hour etc etc but I don't know...could it just be factories or something making the air smell? We live in Pittsburgh. Any thoughts?


Edit: I take that back, DH says he smells it too.

Do you guys have hard water? The city I work in has hard water, and when I'm driving and pass through certain parts, I can smell the sulfur. Maybe it's a busted pipe?

It could be. Do you live closeish to any factories? It could also be sewer. Do you run your dishwasher at night?

That weird, and an awful smell to smell everynight.

We don't have hard water, we don't have a dishwasher..it only smells from 3-5ish am..and I don't really think we live by any factories..we're a good 10 minutes from the city. It is really weird.

or your hubby could be passing gas in the middle of the night.. ive actually had to leave the room because it smelled like rotten eggs.. but like what is said it could be a factory or something.. have you called the city to ask?

Hahaha no I've lived with DH for 7 years. I know the smell of his farts lololol. What would I ask the city? I don't even know where id start with that

I would ask them.
I would also google sulfur smell at 3 AM, they say that the paranormal whatever hours are usually 3-5am.

We have upstairs neighbors I should ask them. And smurfrfrfrf no am I googling! That smurf will scare me to pieces

do you have any canals or rivers by your house?

i lived in the keys my whole life before i moved to orlando (and now miami) and the mangroves would produce this sulfar smell sometimes. i think it might have been something to do with the salt water, though.

Could be back up from the sewer/spetic system. Is it strong enough to wake you, or you just notice it when you wake up?

well i googled 'sulfar smell at 3am' and everything that came up says that is the smell of demons.

I'm not sure if It wakes me up or if I notice it when I'm up you know?
