Term. The full 40 weeks of pregnancy is full term. If 37 weeks was full term, then they would make your EDD during that week and not the 40th week.

Term. 40 weeks is full term. Pregnancy is 40 weeks so that's why it's called full term. 37 is usually safe is they consider it term.

A good deal of people feel that 37 weeks is full term however it's not, it's just term. FULL term is called full term for a reason, because you've completed the full 40 weeks of pregnancy.

it's Term, if it were considered Full Term then why would they have any week past 37?.....I was actually watching something that said they are now starting to consider 39 weeks term seeing as how in those 2 weeks the baby could benefit from even more.

Its term. I look at it this way. If EDD can be off by 2 weeks then at 37 weeks you could be either 35 weeks or 39. 35 weeks is very risky. At 40 weeks you could be either 38 weeks or 42. Meaning you're in a very safe zone.

Well even some doctors seem to feel like 37 weeks is term. They're just stupid, TBH. Not all doctors understand logic   Her being a nurses aid doesn't make her more credible. What is that, a CNA? It takes like a few months to get certified. Not trying to take anything away from her but she's no medical genius.

Pssh. Then why won't most dra induce unless medically necessary until you're overdue from 40 weeks. Then they'd all Induxe at 38 saying "oh youre overdue."
