Preemie Clothes.

What kind of outfits should I get?
I only want to grab a few things just in case since it isn't definite that she'll need them. Can they even wear clothes at 34-36 weeks when in the NICU?

I would get a few preemie outfits. Maybe like 4 or 5 sleepers.

I would call the hospital and ask.

The button front sleepers always worked best for us. It depends what is goin on with your baby.

I'm supposed to be going for a NICU tour soon. Just in case things don't go well in the 25th. Will they likely tell me then?

The only thing we kniw for sure is that she's too small for comfort and the placenta is the likely culprit. We'll know more in two weeks. Worst case scenario she will be born with HDN.

I would hope they would tell you then. If they don't mention anything, I'd make sure to ask.All the best of God's blessings!

Usually button up stuff so the monitor cords can go through them. But at first they probably won't wear clothes. I think clothes get more Inteoxued when they get into an open bed. Otherwise while in the Warmers they want them just in a dipe I think.

I would suggest just a few of the zip up footie pajamas as for if she can wear clothes or not in the NICU probably not, but I would double check when they give you the tour.

I'm going through the same thing right now :/
I'm pretty sure you read a little bit about what I was going through, but now I haven't leaked in a week, fluid levels are barely going up, and the babys heart looks bigger than it should. Along with all the blood coming with my water breakking this points to partial placental abruption and possibly enough tore away that its not doing its job anymore. I have another u/s somwhere around the 23-25 to do an echocardiogram and measure the baby again and if he's not growing enough they'll most likely need to take him. I will be about 29 weeks.

They usually allow clothes after they are done with the bellieuben lights (sp?) and as long as she isn't having any complications that might interfere with her tubes. My daughter was born at 29 wks and couldn't wear clothes for roughly 2 wks. The nicu she was in also had their own premie clothes for changes and things. I wouldn't buy more than 4-5. But I would make sure they are button up otherwise it is almost impossible to get clothes on them and if you can it is a pain.

Oh and all I have for dd is 2 sleepers because tht literally all I could find. I have looked at multiple stores in multiple towns. It's rediculus.

So far I've crocheted him a baby blanket and I'm going to make a few hats. I'm also going to order a preemie outfit for 2-4lbs just to have, if anything for going home in. If I don't need it at least I'm not out a ton of money. Plus they either have them in just a diaper or they have clothes for them at first so there's plenty of time to get your own if need be.

Walmart usually has preemie clothes as well as online. They are kinda hard to find.

Yeah that's where I found the two sleepers. I was getting stressed. But I have yet to find anything button up
