Quoting JiLLiAN.:" No, and you shouldn't do it. My cousin has twin boys and she was told to have them sleep in the same crib for the first 6 months. they are so accustomed to being together."
Quoting Autumn Whisper:" I could no more split my twins than I could split myself from my own flesh and blood child. It would ... [snip!] ... that is not genetically related to me. I can't imagine giving up my own child, even if it were twins and I'd only wanted one."Yeah if you think about it...twins are more or less like one person, in a sense...lol, I know they are both their own individual unique own selves but they have such a connection. So if you took one out of that equation it would be like taking half of a person away.
Quoting BlackVelvet:" Being a twin i know from personal experience what the twin bond is.. But Hypothetically: Lets say you ... [snip!] ... will keep and open line of communication and let the twins see one another anytime you wanted Would you be able to do it?"That is more or less what I was asking....maybe I didn't word it very well? Lol, however I didn't add in my OP that maybe the financial aspect would be tough. Maybe I should have added that as part of the question too, because that certainly is something to consider. But....I am sure a lot of people would say they would do anything to make it work, financially, because they couldn't bare the thought of letting go of one of their children.
