regrets

I had my tubes tied after I had my third baby in August. My husband said he did not want anymore kids and that either I had my tubes tied or he was having a vasectomy. So since I was already having a csection I went ahead and had my tubes tied to save money. Now that I've had it done, im wishing I would've waited. Im 25 years old (today) and starting to think I would've liked to try for a second girl. Im sure this is normal but I can't stop thinking I made a mistake. Right now isn't a good time for another baby, and my last one nearly killed me but there's still that nagging thought that I really messed up. Even my husband is now saying that I could always have it undone so we could try fir a girl. Wtf! He was against having more kids and now all he's doing is confusing me! Ahhhhhhh!!!

Dh wants me to get my tubes tied after this one too. I'm 24. But it's not going to happen, I'm afraid in 10 years or something, I'll want another one.

Sorry sweetie   idk why men have to be that way. Is it aomething u can just get undone?! I thought it wasn't.   I would assume there probably is a grieving process associated with it. Just that thought that it feels so permanent and you no longer have a choice. That's why I am afraid to do any surgeries like that for me or SO because I'm not in a good place to accept it's over, even though it probably is.

I turned 25 today so we are in the same boat. And yeah its not something they can undo! And it's expensive to try. I just wish I would've waited.

Thanks!!!! Lol. Sitting here thinking about how one year ago id just found out I was pregnant and being so scared because id just miscarried. This year im laying in bed, not because of morning sickness but because my 4 month old is sick and wanting to cuddle. Time flies! Have to brag, he's 18 lbs 8 oz and 27 inches!!!!! At only a little over 4 months!

i havent reached this stage yet. maybe i will when Will is older (i didnt reach the i want another baby stage with the twins until they were like 2). so far i am beyond happy i had it done. it made my periods easier and more normal.

i am sorry you are dealing with this. it must suck. my husband didnt pressure me to get mine done... he knew i wanted it done and when i was having my most recent surgery he encouraged me to get it done. i am pushing him to get himself done too. he says he doesnt want to because it is an uncomfortable situation.

Im not like oh I want another baby right now but knowing its not an option sucks. Im loving every minute of watching my kids grow up . I haven't had a period since my baby was born so Idk if it has affected them.

Im proud of him. He's still exclusively breastfed and growing so good. Im going to school full time and still managing to not have to use a bottle. He's trying solids a little at a time. Maybe once a week. Im not wanting to start too soon, and scared of him having a bad reaction.
