Thank you. I have been trying to give her formula more I always feed her her bottle before I give her food. But that's my problem. She doesn't eat much of anything. So if when I give her a little bit of nutritious food after her bottle I think it'll be better than giving her lot of something like carrots or squash wich both are very low in calories

Wow he is super little! I think at 2.5 my daughter is finally putting on some weight again so maybe she'll fatten up now lol

You are doing things right.
At this age, "solids" are really for training and fun. you can squeeze a few more calories in with some butter.

Is butter safe for babies? If so any veggies could be cooled up with some butter. That might make it taste a little yummier too. Like to get her to eat Avacado.

She is small and that's okay. I have ways need low in weight but its concerning that's she isn't staying at 25% instead she went DOWN to 15%. I'd lime to keep her on her curve. Even if she stays now at 15% she's okay but if at our next appointment she goes down to 5% and then she goes off the charts it's a problem and us be stupid to not do anything

Yes, butter is considered fine for a 6 month old.

13 pounds at 6 months does seem kind of small to me. Just offer her more formula

The same thing happened with my daughter. She continuously dropped from 80% to 40% to 30% etc and to 1%. and ya know what? now she's 2.5 and starting to fatten up again, has great eating habits, and is perfectly healthy and deveolpmentally on track so I'm just saying don't get alarmed. I've had multiple pedis tell me it was normal and ok as long as they are not displaying other issues. don't worry. I'm sure she's just fine!

Have you talked to your doctor about maybe giving her a higher calorie formula? That's what we had to do with LO because she was getting to tired when eating (latch problem wearing her out) and at three months old she was barely getting through two ounces. We just increased the calories in her regular formula as recommended by her doctor, but they do also have higher calorie formula. Since you said she doesn't eat that much then it might be worth a try.

Ya our doctor said to wait and see if she gains more weight this month and if she hasn't by our next appointment than she'll do something more about it. Which wi probably be changing formulas, I just don't want to do it until she gives me the okay

Ontario guidelines are different peanut products at 6 months are allowed her cows milk at 9 months etc.....
