not sure what to do

my almost 2 year old was sleeping through the night fine until a few days ago. He know wakes up about 1am screaming. I have tried laying him down with me i have tried so many things and its not working. I was wondering what the signs of an ear infection? hes not pulling at his ear but hes fussy all the time and doesnt want to drink much anymore. I feel so lost and im thinking i should take him to the doctor.

Could he be getting new teeth?

Thats what I was thinking, his 2 year molars or just having nightmares?

usually i can tell when hes teething and he hasnt shown any of the signs and he does get terror nightmares but nothing like this

Nightmares and night terrors are two different things. If you think it's night terrors he won't remember anything and will be difficult to settle during the episode. They happen for a few different reasons, like being over tired, over stimulated and others I can't remember. But maybe look into it and see what you can do to help him. If it's just nightmares then it should pass, they are a developmental milestone actually.
