I have been in bed since 8:30 last night and still haven't slept. My back is killing me. My refills haven't come in yet, so on top of my muscle relaxers for my back I don't have my sleeping pills, either.
Just venting I guess... Today is one of those days that you realize you are a 23 year old and permanently disabled.  
I hope I get some sleep soon.

On another note, little man is behind in speech. He isn't saying any real words besides mama and dada and he's 13 months. I know that me speaking to him in English, and his dad talking to him in mostly Spanish is probably a factor, but I still worry.

I always fear that my son is behind in speech, but he goes through phases. Some days he'll say a lot, and some days, nothing at all. He's almost 2 and still doesn't say a whole heck of a lot.

Yeah, DS has a lot to say, but just doesn't know how to say it. It's mostly just jibberish. He knows when to tell me he's thirsty, he'll bring his cup over to me and say "joooooooooose" and he can say "Whaaat", but that's the extent of it on a daily basis. Some days he'll say loads of stuff and I'm just taken aback by it, though. I think when he was 18 months, that's when he said the most, then I guess it lost it's novelty and now he just picks and chooses when to actually speak.

My DD was behind in speech for the same reason (dad speaks Spanish) but now that she's 3 she's advanced because she understands and speaks both languages.   Just hang in there mama!
