i must be hateable.

posted 13th Jan
So people tell my SIL alot of things and think she wont tell me. Which is silly because we are pretty close and half the people that tell her smurf shewill hardly even know.

One of DHs female friends is the biggest HO she tries to sleep with everything and anything and last night i was tryna tell her to back off because she was trying to hook in with the guy SIL likes even though SIL had asked her not to. When SIL booked a houseboat for her 18th she invited this friend and said DH was coming and the friend responded 'oh cool, is the THING coming?' referring to me.

There is about 5 people that DH is friends with that are so nice to my face then bitch about me to SIL.

This morning SILs next door neighbour came over and was bitching about me!! Then said I was flirting with DHs mate...which is stupid because she was there all of 10 minutes. DH knows i wasnt but his friend is just lije that, he was kissing my belly and stuff but noone thinks anything of it because thats just how he is, apparently its an irish thing lol.

I just cant stand people saying smurf behind my back and actig nice to my face.

Are you sure people are saying this smurf & she isn't just being bitchy? Like totally totally positive?

Nah cos i know these people and MOST of them hate the fact that DH is with me because he used to be a party boy every day of the week and now he is married with kids and a full time job.

Well also when you are young there is far more drama. It will go away...I promise - that is if you want it to go away. Some people keep drama forever, but most people are done with it by the late 20's..

They don't like her because they are sluts and want to smurf her husband despite the fact he has a child to her and another on the way. They blatantly try to get away with this right in front of her too. The problem is not her "tunnel brain" its that we come from a small town where people don't like change and have no respect!

well if you trust your DH then don't stress on it. like another post says, drama starts to go away when you're older. there are people who don't like me in sure.. but really who cares. it's not worth the time or energy.

They are her husbands friends and if he is going to be around them then obviously she has to to some extent. It's fine to dislike someone but normally you should have a reason and "she married the guy I want to smurf and now he has a family instead of throwing party's every weekend" is not a good reason in my opinion.

Both of them are only 20. Fresh out of their teenage years. The drama will probably stick to them a little longer.

I think drama is bound to happen in a small town where everyone knows everyone's business. There are people much older than us who are still copping it. Besides everyone has drama in their life even when you try to avoid it, I moved away from that town to 1600kms away and I still have to deal with drama from there. Its life.

I live in a small town, I know how it goes. I have lived in a town with barely any people in it where everyone knew who I was a day after moving there.

Yet I have been able to avoid drama because I refuse to be sucked into it. If someone causes drama in my life I cut them out completely.
